Rain Water Harvesting Tanks

A Rainwater harvesting tank is also known as a Ferro cement tank. It consists of a cement-rich mortar applied on both sides of a thin layer of wire mesh and closely spaced thin steel rods. The tank capacity varies from 6 to 10 cubic metres of water. These tanks are spread across our different areas of operation, the highest number found in the South Western region areas such as Kisoro, Rubanda, and Kanungu. Other areas include West Nile (Specifically among health centres) etc.
